2D Design Art Camp
$280.00

In 2D Design Camp, young artists will explore the building blocks of visual art through drawing, painting, collage, and printmaking. Over four immersive days, campers will experiment with composition, contrast, pattern, balance, and visual storytelling, learning how artists use design principles to create powerful images.

Campers may:

  • Explore line, shape, texture, and value through dynamic drawing exercises

  • Create bold color studies using paint and mixed media

  • Design layered collages that play with balance and contrast

  • Experiment with printmaking techniques

  • Develop a final composition that brings their ideas together

This camp invites curiosity, risk-taking, and creative problem-solving. Students won’t just make finished pieces, they’ll learn how and why images work.

Perfect for young artists who love to draw, paint, and explore new ways of seeing.

Origin Stories of Art Materials
$280.00

Before art materials came from stores, they came from the land

In Origin Stories of Art Materials, young artists will explore where creative tools truly begin, in plants, earth, fiber, and fire. Over four immersive days, participants will gather, make, and experiment with materials drawn from natural and traditional processes.

Campers may:

  • Create natural dyes and handmade watercolor paints from plants

  • Craft their own paintbrushes and drawing charcoal

  • Make simple carved wooden spoons

  • Learn the basics of papermaking

  • Weave small baskets from natural fibers

  • Explore traditional handicraft techniques

  • Learn about Indigenous art materials and knowledge with special guests

This camp invites curiosity, patience, and hands-on discovery. Students won’t just make art, they’ll make the materials themselves, learning the history, ecology, and care behind each process.

Perfect for young makers who love working with their hands, being outdoors, and understanding how things are made.

3D Design Art Camp
$280.00

In 3D Design Camp, young artists will build, sculpt, stack, twist, and invent their own three-dimensional creations. Over four exciting days, campers will experiment with clay, cardboard, wire, and found materials to turn big ideas into real, touchable art.

Campers may:

  • Build sculptures that stand tall (and actually balance!)

  • Create wild creatures, abstract forms, or imaginative worlds

  • Learn how to bend wire, join materials, and make structures strong

  • Explore texture, shape, and space in hands-on ways

  • Design a final 3D artwork to share at the end of camp

This camp is all about experimenting, problem-solving, and not being afraid to try something new. Things might wobble before they work, and that’s part of the fun.

Perfect for curious builders, creative thinkers, and kids who love working with their hands and making big ideas real.

Ari Shore

For over a decade, I taught art in classrooms filled with creative chaos and possibility, guiding students through color, form, texture, and the quiet magic of making. Eventually, my path is shifting toward clinical counseling, where I am exploring healing not just through art, but through deep listening, reflection, and care. Now, in this season of life, I find myself as a mom, friend, partner, want-to-be runner, and a forever maker, navigating the steady hum of daily life, while still carving out sacred time to return to my own creative center.

At my table (often literally crowded), you’ll find metalwork alongside oil paintings, handwoven textiles draped next to stained glass, natural materials waiting to be transformed, and (so many) half-finished projects sharing space with everyday living. I’ve never fit neatly into a single box, not as a maker, not as a teacher, not as a mother, and I’m learning that maybe that’s the point. This is a space of integration: a home for all my practices, from fine art to functional craft.
